Here are some sad statistics from
about small business owners. Using WordPress, none of these should ever happen to you.
Despite two thirds of those surveyed having had a business website for 2 years or more, only 1 in 10 firms made updates on a daily basis.
That is a pretty sad statistics for the small business Web workers and signifies that many companies continue to struggle in maintaining their web presence. Some other alarming results from the survey:
- 1 in 4 companies admit to updating their websites on a monthly basis,
- over half (54 per cent) admitted to making technical tweaks only 'infrequently,'
- 1 in 3 (34 per cent) are unable to quantify the popularity of their website as they do not look at their visitor numbers
I can help you with a lot of these mistakes. While I do not do content – that's up to you in your area of expertise, I can take care of a lot of WordPress things for you.

We all need to be more conscious of security in all areas of our lives. This is as true for your WordPress Site as anywhere!
One of the biggest complaints I hear as a Prospect Profiler is, "I wish I could draw in contacts who can afford me. Everyone I talk to is down to their last dime." There are a couple of reasons for this phenomenon. Some of it is real and some of it is perceived.

Your WordPress Commenting Strategy Made Easier by Google
Google has a new feature this month – search for blogs! Right up our alley.
I talk a lot about leaving comments on other blogs (remember – it's relevant comments!) But the question I often get is how to find those blogs.
Google has a nice blog search feature to help. As with all things Google, there is no indication that this is a permanent feature but it's there now so take advantage of it.
To use it go to Google's homepage and click 'more' and then blogs.
A new screen will appear with familiar search box but this is only for blogs!
Key in your search term and you will get a list of blogs related to your term. An easy and faster way to find relevant blogs to leave comments and of course, a link to your blog! And a great addition to your WordPress Commenting Strategy.
Blog On with Google blogs!
